I am back once again with a new post on How to permanently block website in Google Chrome. Blocking a website can have any reason behind. You might want your kids not to check some websites, or you don’t want distraction because of some specific websites in your life. Well, whatever the reason be, here are some simple steps which will make you block website in Google Chrome..

1. Click on My computer and Navigate to C Drive >> Windows >> System 32 >> Drivers >> etc .
2. After you go in the folder etc, you’ll find a file named as host. Open it using Notepad.
3. At the bottom of this Notepad File, add 127.0.0.1 followed by a space and the name of the website without “http://” or “www” . For example if you want to block Google, type 127.0.0.1 google.com at the end of that notepad file.
4. Save the file and restart your computer.

That’s it. You have just blocked a website permanently form your computer. Whenever you will try to open that website again, your browser will give some error.

The simple steps included in this post will let you Disable Autorun feature for your CD/DVD and Pendrive. Just follow the steps given below.

• Click on start button and then click on Run command.
• Type gpedit.msc and press enter.
• Go to Computer Configuration >> Administrative Templates >> Windows Components

The moment you click on Windows Components, you will see a screen like shown in the screenshot below..

• Right Click on “Turn off Autoplay” and click Edit.
• Click on Enabled and select “All Drives” from the drop down menu shown below.



• Just Click OK and you are done..

Well, Many times you might have got some error saying

Task Manager has been disabled by your Administrator

In that case it becomes pretty necessary to know How to Enable Task Manager, because Task Manager is the center of all the processes going on in Windows and your computer.

Well, of the two processes, one which i am going to explain first is

How to Disable Windows Task Manager

To Disable Windows Task Manager, Follow the steps given below

1. Click on Start Button and then Click on Run option.
2. Type regedit and press Enter.
3. In the left bar, Click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER >> Software >> Microsoft >>Windows>> CurrentVersion>> Policies >> System.
If you can not find System Folder under policies, Create one by right clicking on Policies >> Keys and name it as System
4. Now, Right click at an Empty Area and choose Create New DWORD (32) bit Value. Name it DisableTaskMgr and press Enter.
5. Double Click DisableTaskMgr and set it’s Hexadecimal Value as 1. Press Enter and reboot your Computer.

And you are done. You have just disabled your task manager. Whenever you’ll press ctrl+alt+del, you will get an error message saying “Task Manager has been Disabled by your administrator“.

How to Enable Windows Task Manager?

If you later decide to Enable it again, Just Go to DWORD value, which we have created just now and Simply Delete it or change the Hexadecimal Value to 0.

There is one more way to Enable it. Double Click on DisableTaskMgr, and Click on Delete.
