Heya everyone,
It has been more than 75 days, Facebook launched its revolutionary innovation named as “Facebook Timeline“. Just to check the implementation and the feedback of the users, this feature was only available for the developers on Facebook. In a press conference, before a few hours, Facebook has announced that the most awaited feature is going to be public for all the Facebook users, but you have to wait 1 more week for that.
Initially Facebook is just launching Timeline in New Zealand. This country was likely picked by the Facebook team as New Zealand is a English speaking country and collecting feedback would be much easier task. A 7 days time has been given to those users to review Facebook Timeline, in that period the only users will be able to see their timeline, their friends would be seeing their old profile as before. In this 1 week, users can switch back to old profile , but after 7 days, Timeline will be automatically published.
Once Facebook finishes with this step, Facebook Timeline will be publically available to all the 800+ million users of Facebook.
Here’s the statement, what was exactly said on the official Facebook blog…
“We announced Timeline in September and made it available to developers building apps on our platform. Since then, over a million people have signed up for the developer beta to access Timeline. The feedback we’ve received so far has been invaluable. Starting today, we are making Timeline more widely available as we measure speed and other types of performance. We’ll begin by making it available to people in New Zealand and then roll it out more broadly in the near future.”

There is no greater grief than to remember days of joy when misery is at hand.
