    give me some solution

In windows 7, this usually works if you are trying to go full screen. Well, you can try maximizing the window by clicking title bar twice or by using maximize button at right top of the window…. Hope it works.

problem is: when ever i write #include
this portion highlighted, and at the end of program when i compile it it gives error..

    • March 9, 2012 at 4:45 am #

There can be several reasons behind it and the type of error you are getting.. Would you please describe the statement of error you are getting? also the drive in which you are trying to install the compiler..

when i execute the program the error occurs of header file i.e #include

    this becomes highlighted…
i install compiler in c drive in which i have installed windows 7 64 bit..

    • March 12, 2012 at 3:48 am #

I have tried using different programs and i dint get any error.. Also after 1000+ downloads from this page, you are the only one who is complaining about this strange error.. Being pretty honest, your doubt is still not very much clear.. You said the header section gets highlighted, but its always highlighted. I was asking about the statement you get in bottom half(error list, below the code) of the screen?? you can try extracting the zip file at a different location and replace include folder of your already installed compiler..lemme know with more details if you still face the error..

    hello,
    i got a problem!
i cant write these symbols },{,+,\,/ etc. in c++
key board is not the problem bcoz its working everywhere except C++

    • March 27, 2012 at 2:54 am #

Try extracting C++ compiler in a different directory, and do it again. This might be a virus attack on Compiling files. Are you facing the problem from starting or it arrived recently??

when i write the program n execute it….
a message says compiling and den nthing happens after a long time too :/

    • March 27, 2012 at 4:23 pm #

This is neither an error nor any compiler problem. This is the system slowdown caused by the junk and temp files. Try removing them. This takes place because your RAM does not have enough space to provide for the compilation of your program. :) Good Luck.

it showing a warning that “date/time of disk file has changed.reload from disk”
    what to do now..
    pls tel me

    • April 4, 2012 at 3:51 pm #

System date and time disorder takes place because of non working of CMOS battery. CMOS battery is a cell kind structure which stores the date and time when your computer is not connected to any power source. So try changing CMOS battery and then set correct date and time. Your problem will be solved. :)

The version you are using in your desktop cant work with the LAPTOP OS you provided. Try downloading the compiler from the link i’ve shared on this page and use it. Good Luck. :)

Works well in my laptop but the problem is after executing a program i cant save it and i cant do anything i just have to close the software. and when the software is not in full screen the colour scheme of my laptop changes from win 7 ultimate to win 7 homebasic

    • April 14, 2012 at 10:43 pm #

This is a problem of the common shared files while installing windows as well as compiler. To get rid of it, you can do one thing, Write your program in Notepad, Save it with .cpp extension, then open the compiler again and open the file by browsing it to the location where you have saved the file. Hope it works. :)

Awsome Turbo C is packed with DOS box

  23. mufim
    April 17, 2012 at 2:55 am #

Before i was mounting the turbo C with DOS box and then using keyboard and it was good , the only problem while mounting was after complie and link of your program when you press ctrl+F9 to Run the DOS box will exit …..

    • April 17, 2012 at 12:51 pm #

You answered you query yourself. As you know, the compiler is packed with the DOS box automatically, since the compiler is not compatible with this version of windows, we need to run DOS box and DOS box runs the compiler. Now, when we are working with the compiler, actually the DOS box is running according to the windows. ctrl + f9 is a DOS box command to close DOS box, as soon as you press ctrl + f9 to run the written code, DOS box closes. So you are advised to use mouse pointer to click on run in menu and use it. :)

  34. May 9, 2012 at 1:14 pm #

i hav got dis and its running also but when i press ctrl+f9 it shows error like terms not accepted…every1 says it is mostly because directory is not installed so where will i get that..?
    do reply…!!

    • May 9, 2012 at 6:27 pm #

ctrl + f9 is a dosbox command which stops this command to work in C++ compiler. Better will be you just use mouse to navigate to run option..

  35. May 10, 2012 at 10:37 am #

    Hi
Thanks for your TC for Win7 in DosBox.
I get a problem entering ‘#’ -it will not enter in TC! (instead gives ‘\’ character).
So I cannot directly edit C/C++ files with this at the moment. Any idea why this error has occurred and how to fix this? Thanks

    • May 11, 2012 at 9:42 am #

This kinda problems don’t occur usually. This might be due to installation failure. You can try installing the compiler again. If the problem still arises, you have to take an alternative way. Just write your program in a notepad file, save it as .cpp and run from C++ compiler. That will surely solve your problem.

      • May 11, 2012 at 7:04 pm #

Thanks for your reply. I do not know what DosBox/TurboC is doing with my En UK keyboard! Pressing ctrl/F1 brings up keymapper but that is no help! I found that if I use shift/£ key I get # symbol! I also had problems with double quote marks(“) but using shift/@ gives me quotes in TurboC! Apparently keyb uk in config file is meant to give default UK keyboard but it doesn’t on my desktop Win7 setup(perhaps it is because I have an active KVM unit also?). Who knows why!!!?! Anyway I can edit files in TC now but I have a problem with graphics-currently initgraph is not working even though I have enabled the graphics libraries….oh dear! I hope to fix this soon.
        (Does DevC++ run Borland graphics.h libraries?Could I compile TC files in DevC++??).

        • May 11, 2012 at 7:32 pm #

yeah, you can surely compile files having .cpp extension in any of the compiler.. :)
